Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 August 2026

1. Agreement and operator

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AnyLinks service (the "Service"), operated by John Tang, Hong Kong ("we", "us", or "our"). The Service provides short links and QR codes that route visitors to the App Store, Google Play, or a website fallback, plus click statistics and optional custom domains.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you accept these Terms on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business.

2. Service description

The Service lets you create branded short links that send iPhone visitors to the App Store, Android visitors to Google Play, and other visitors to a website you configure. You can download QR codes for the same links, view click statistics, and, on paid plans, use a custom domain and longer analytics windows.

"Visitors" are people who open your short links or scan your QR codes. "You" are the account holder using the Service to publish those links.

3. Accounts and eligibility

To use the Service you must create an account with a valid email address. You may sign in with email and password or, when enabled, with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to use the Service for your organisation. You must claim a handle on go.anylinks.app before publishing live short links.

4. Plans and billing

The Service offers Free and Pro plans as described on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe. Unless you cancel, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time; cancellation stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the current paid period. Fees already paid for the current period are not refunded except as required by law. Prices may change; we will notify you before changes take effect for your next billing period.

Free and Pro plans include monthly click caps. When a cap is reached, affected links may pause (visitors may see a not-found response) until the next billing period or until you upgrade. We do not insert advertising pages into the redirect path on Free or Pro.

5. Links, destinations, and content

You control the destination URLs (App Store, Google Play, and website fallback), short path, QR appearance, and optional Open Graph preview fields for each link. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of those destinations and of any marketing copy associated with them.

You must not use the Service to distribute malware, phishing, illegal content, or destinations that infringe third-party rights. We may suspend links or accounts that create risk for visitors or for the Service.

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for how you configure links, domains, and campaigns, and for how you use visitor statistics. You must: use the Service lawfully; obtain any consents required under applicable law for your marketing; ensure that store URLs and website fallbacks are correct; and comply with App Store, Google Play, and advertising platform rules that apply to your campaigns.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for your visitors' experience after they leave AnyLinks.

7. Redirects and analytics

When a visitor opens a short link, the Redirect service looks up the link configuration and issues an HTTP redirect to the matching destination. Click statistics are recorded asynchronously after the redirect path and are provided to you in aggregate form in the dashboard.

The Service is store and website routing only. It does not install an SDK in your app and does not open deep links inside your installed app.

8. Acceptable use

You must not: misuse the Service to disrupt other users; attempt to access data you are not authorised to see; use the Service to send spam or run phishing or malware campaigns; scrape or overload the Service; or use the Service in a way that violates the law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, at our sole discretion and without prejudice to our other rights.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by John Tang and his licensors. You retain ownership of your content, including destination URLs, link labels, and QR customisations you configure.

You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.

10. Termination and suspension

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, or if required by law. Accounts that exceed plan limits or remain unpaid may have links restricted or paused.

Upon termination your access ends. We delete or anonymise account and link configuration data within 30 days of closure, except records we must keep for tax or billing. Click analytics are retained only for the windows described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that store destinations will remain available, or that click statistics will be complete in every case.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service is limited to the amounts you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.

12. Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms from time to time. Where we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before they take effect, where practicable. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect shall represent your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws in force in Hong Kong. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
