How to make one link for App Store and Google Play

Here is how to build a single download link that routes each visitor to the right store — in three steps, with no SDK and no changes to your app.

How to make one link for App Store and Google Play

Step 1

Collect your store URLs

Grab your App Store link (it starts with apps.apple.com/app/...) and your Google Play link (play.google.com/store/apps/details?...). Also decide where desktop visitors should land.

Step 2

Create the smart link

In your AnyLinks dashboard, paste both store URLs and a fallback, then pick a short path such as /launch. The service inspects the device's user agent and redirects each visitor to the right store.

There is no SDK to add — the routing happens on the redirect, not in your app.

Step 3

Share and track it

Put the short link in ads, email, or an Instagram bio, or download a QR for print. Clicks are recorded by device (and by country and campaign tag on Pro).

Questions

Do I need to update my app to use this link?

No. It is store routing from a short URL. You do not add anything to the app and you do not open screens inside it.

What happens if someone clicks from a desktop?

By default they go to your website (the fallback you set). You can make it a page with both store buttons.

One store link. Never an ad.
